Privacy Policy — Crimson Review “Send My Scores” Chrome Extension
Effective date: August 13, 2026
The Send My Scores extension lets Crimson Review students send their own College Board practice test results to Crimson Review, so their tutors can review them. This policy describes what the extension collects and how that information is used.
What the extension collects
When a student chooses to send their scores, the extension reads the following from the student’s own College Board My Practice account, in the browser tab the student is viewing:
- The student’s name as it appears on their College Board account
- A College Board account identifier, used to match the student’s future submissions to the same student
- Practice test results: test name, date, section and total scores, and per-question results (question number, the student’s answer, the correct answer, and whether the answer was right or wrong)
The extension does not collect test question text, reading passages, or answer explanations. It does not read browsing history, other tabs, or any website other than mypractice.collegeboard.org. It contains no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.
Sign-in information
Students may optionally sign in with their Crimson Review account. The username and password are sent only to Crimson Review’s server to verify the sign-in, and a sign-in token is stored locally in the student’s browser so they don’t have to sign in each time. Passwords are never stored by the extension. Students without a Crimson Review login can still send scores without signing in.
Where the information goes
All information collected by the extension is sent to Crimson Review’s own server and nowhere else. It is used solely to make the student’s practice test results available to the student’s tutors and instructors, and to parents through Crimson Review’s existing family portals — the same purpose previously served by students submitting score reports manually.
What we don’t do
We do not sell this information. We do not share it with third parties. We do not use it for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to the student’s test preparation with Crimson Review.
Data retention and deletion
Score data is retained as part of the student’s academic record with Crimson Review. Students or parents may request deletion of this data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
