ACT Prep · Wayne & Malvern

One-on-one ACT prep, built around your student.

The ACT changed — shorter, with optional Science. Our materials and strategies are current for the enhanced format, and every ACT student works one-on-one with an instructor who scored in the 99th percentile.

The ACT today

What changed, and what it means for your student.

The ACT is accepted at every four-year college in the U.S. The enhanced format is shorter than the old test, is not adaptive (unlike the SAT), and can still be taken on paper — a real advantage for students who think better with a pencil.

Should your student take the Science section?

Science is now optional and no longer counts toward the Composite (English, Math, and Reading average to the 1–36 Composite). Whether to sit for it depends on target schools and intended major — some programs still want it, most don’t. We advise each family as part of the testing plan.

Paper or computer?

Students can choose. We help figure out which format suits your student before test day, not on it.

Why one-on-one

We don’t run ACT lecture classes. On purpose.

The ACT rewards pace and precision, and every student’s bottleneck is different — one needs the English grammar rules, another needs to stop running out of time on Reading. So every ACT student gets a custom plan: one-on-one instruction, scheduled weekly or week-to-week around sports and activities, in person or virtual.
